Why Buy a Bed in a Bag?
By
What is a Bed in a Bag and why should you consider buying bedding this way?
Some shoppers enjoy shopping and don’t feel they’ve done process justice unless they’ve exhaustively compared all available sheet sets with all available duvet covers and all available pillow shams. Come on admit it… you know who you are.
For some of the rest of us, purchasing bedding is a necessity. Yes, you want to sleep on a nice set of sheets and would like the sheets and duvet cover to look like they belong together but you don’t feel compelled to explore every possible combination. The Bed in a Bag is the perfect solution for shoppers like you. It usually contains a set of sheets, pillowcases, comforter or comforter/duvet cover combination and may contain additional items such as pillow shams and bed skirts. These items are often made from the same fabric colors that match or complement each other. In addition to saving time, Bed in a Bag sets frequently cost less than if you’d bought each item separately.
Do all “Bed in a Bag” selections come with a comforter? My current line of merchandise does not comforters and I need to add them to availability.
Thanks,
John
A Bed in a Bag set is a collection of bedding products packaged for customers who would rather not take the time or effort to collect compatible duvet covers, comforters, sheets and other accessories. Sometimes the retailer sets the price lower than the sum of the individual components.
We generally consider a package that contains at least a duvet cover + comforter + sheets to be a bed-in-a-bag. We refer to a package that contains a duvet cover without the comforter as a Duvet Cover Set.
If your supplier does not offer a Bed-in-a-Bag, you can make your own by combining a Duvet Cover with a comforter (even if it’s from another supplier – just be sure you physically get your hands on both products & make sure they fit before advertising to your customers. You don’t want your customers to be the ones telling you there’s a problem.
