There are probably a hundred different factors that can be attributed to not receiving enough sleep at night.  While physical problems or sleeping disorders require medical help, if experiencing restlessness or just waking up groggy, the problem might be the bedding.  We often don’t put a lot of thought into our pillowcases, but in truth these are the most important because they’re positioned below the head.  Pillowcases that are itchy, scratchy, or contain chemicals or pesticides can cause discomfort or even cause allergies to flare up.  When choosing pillowcases, the best are those that have a high thread count and are chemical and pesticide free, like Egyptian cotton pillowcases.  Switching to these high quality pillowcases can lead to a better quality of sleep. You might also consider switching the sheets for your bed to Egyptian cotton, which is renowned for its softness and breathability.  There’s nothing better than sleeping in a comfortable bed with light and airy sheets.
